Toyota is a company that is always innovating, staying
ahead of the trends, and pushing automobiles into the future. One of the
biggest trends in the automotive world right now is the fast-growing popularity
of electric cars. In fact, of the 300 model launches – new, redesign, or
refresh – coming in the next four years, 26 percent will be electric. As you
may expect with an innovator like Toyota, they have largely driven this push.
Here at Bell Road Toyota, we have a selection of EV Toyota cars on our lot, and we are happy to
show them off.
Beyond the Toyota Prius
20 years ago, Toyota released the groundbreaking Toyota Prius, and they made their mark as the
industry leader of alternative fuel vehicles. Since then, the automaker’s
lineup of alternative fuel vehicles has expanded, as the quest for efficient
yet powerful mobility continues. Starting with model year 2020 hybrids and EV
vehicles, the automaker includes an enhanced hybrid battery warranty covering
10 years or 150,000 miles, whichever comes first.
2021 Toyota Mirai
Soon to hit the lot here at Bell Road Toyota, the 2021
Toyota Mirai is the first fuel cell vehicle made by Toyota. It features three
hydrogen tanks for extended vehicle range, and these high-pressure, carbon
fiber reinforced polymer tanks have been rigorously tested and proven to meet Global
Technical Regulation Number 13. With an available EPA-estimated range of up to
402 miles, the Toyota Mirai needs only five minutes to fill up and you’re ready
to hit the road.
EV cars are only going to grow in popularity in the future, so to learn more about what Toyota has to offer, visit Bell Road Toyota.
