Winter Toyota Maintenance
While we recommend getting service checkups every six months, the changing of the seasons is a great time to do so. These types of maintenance are especially important in the winter.
• Light Check: In winter, the sun sets earlier in the day, even here in Arizona. As a result, you will want to ensure that your car’s headlights are in excellent condition.
• Battery Maintenance: In cold weather, it is often harder for a battery to operate. We recommend having your battery checked before winter to make sure it’s in good working order.
• Coolant Flush: Your antifreeze, or coolant, is especially important in winter. It keeps the engine from freezing in cold temperatures, so we recommend getting the coolant filled and flushed.
• Winter Tires: If you’re going to be doing serious winter driving, we recommend investing in winter tires. They can be purchased from our Toyota tire center, and they provide you with increased handling and performance on slippery and icy surfaces.
At Bell Road Toyota, our mechanics are happy to get your Toyota car into top shape for the winter. Stop by our dealership today for quick service.
