Toyota Lease Ending? Here's What to Do
Sometimes it seems like everyone loves new Toyota
cars. We certainly see a lot of the Toyota Camry, Toyota RAV4, and Toyota
Tacoma on the roads around Phoenix, AZ. But not everyone who comes to Bell Road
Toyota is here to buy. In fact, roughly a third of all Toyota cars that leave
dealerships each year are under lease. If you’re one of those lessees, we can
help make the end of that lease easier for you.
There are a few dates to keep in mind as your lease
draws to a close.
90 Days Before Lease Ends
This is a good time to decide what comes after your
lease ends. You might decide to buy out your current lease, to purchase a
different vehicle altogether, or take on another lease. During this time frame,
you should also expect to hear from Toyota Financial Services.
60 Days Before Lease Ends
Once your lease is up, you may face charges for excess
wear and tear. Since you probably don’t want to find out what you’re dealing
with the day you turn in your vehicle and your keys, we suggest bringing your
car, truck, or SUV to the dealership. We’ll conduct an assessment so you’ll
know what to expect.
30 Days Before Lease Ends
If you haven’t already done so, the last month of your
lease is time for any Toyota service and
repairs your vehicle needs. It’s also
a good time to contact Bell Road Toyota for a return date, to make the return,
and meet any final obligations for mileage and wear overages. It’s also when
you’ll work out the details on your next new Toyota car.
There are some other things that are worth keeping in
mind.
•
You can take
advantage of loyalty incentives provided through Toyota Financial Services.
These can often be combined with dealer incentives and seasonal promotions. We’ve
enjoyed having you as a customer, and we’d love to see you stick around!
•
Remember that
your Phoenix Toyota dealer was in your corner when you took on your lease, and
we’re still here to help. Any questions you have, and any help you need, is
still right here at 2020 West Bell Road.
•
Finally, whether
you leased or purchased through Bell Road Toyota, remember that our service and
Toyota Finance departments are always here for you.

Take Advantage of the Bell Road Toyota Military Discount
Memorial Day Weekend is almost upon us. We wanted to
take some time out of the usual daily hustle and bustle to express our
appreciation of those who’ve served their country. Since the usual “Thank you
for your service” seems to fall a bit short, the Toyota
finance department at Bell
Road Toyota is offering our thanks in a somewhat more tangible form.
From now ’til May 31, 2017, Bell Road Toyota is
offering a special $500 Military Discount toward the lease or purchase of a new
Toyota vehicle. That makes this a great time to pull the trigger on that Toyota
RAV4, Toyota Camry, or Toyota Tacoma you’ve been eyeing.
The discount is open to active duty, active reserve,
or Ready Reserve service members of the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, and
Coast Guard and their families (including Gold Star families). Military
retirees and veterans who are within one year of their retirement or discharge
also qualify.
All you’ll need is one of the following:
•
Proof of status
(Leave and Earning Statement, military ID, DD 214)
•
Qualifying salary
•
Credit approval
by Toyota Financial Services via Bell Road Toyota
This offer is contingent on credit approval by Toyota
Financial Services, and not everyone will qualify. It cannot be combined with
certain other incentives. Delivery must be taken from dealer stock. You’re
responsible for any applicable taxes and fees. Other terms and conditions
apply; your Toyota dealer will provide you with full details.
If you’ve been waiting to get behind the wheel of a
new Toyota car, SUV, truck, or van, your wait is over. Visit Bell Road Toyota
at 2020 West Bell Road in Phoenix, AZ to browse our inventory and for more
information on our manufacturer and Toyota
dealer incentives.

Technology Highlights in Toyota Cars
Finding the right Toyota car, truck, or SUV isn’t just about coming to your Phoenix Toyota dealership, even though that’s a great start. It’s also about finding the right combination of features and options that make your daily drive fun and rewarding. Luckily, the new Toyota vehicles at Bell Road Toyota are an embarrassment of riches when it comes to great tech features.
You’d have to set aside a couple of hours if we were to explain every bit of innovative technology that goes into a car like the 2017 Toyota Prius V. Instead, we’re going to dive deep on three key technologies that we think are particularly important.
Toyota Safety Systems
Toyota STAR Safety System and Toyota TSS (the latter of which will be standard on many more 2018 Toyota models) are among the reasons so many Toyota vehicles have top safety scores from the IIHS and NHTSA. More importantly, they keep you and your family safe. They include features like stability and traction control, lane departure warning, smart cruise control, and blind spot monitoring.
Toyota Entune
Toyota Entune works in tandem with your phone to support a wide range of functions. These include traffic and navigation, music, points of interest, hands-free calling and texting, and quite a bit else besides. Some features require a subscription (your Phoenix Toyota dealer will have details), but taken as a whole, Entune helps you get a lot more out of your Toyota Highlander or other new Toyota SUV.
Wireless Charging
Right now, Qi Wireless Charging is limited to upper trims on Toyota hybrid vehicles. It’s induction-based, so all you need to do is put your mobile device on a special charging mat. It’s handy if you don’t want wires cluttering your console.
Of course, not all technology is available on all models and trims, and the upper trims of cars like the Toyota Camry will have the best features available. Be sure to speak to your salesperson about your options. Bell Road Toyota is conveniently located at 2020 West Bell Road in Phoenix, AZ.

A Toyota 18-Wheeler? Why Not?
The Toyota Motor Corporation’s trucks earn respect.
Even though they don’t put up the same sales figures as some of their
competitors, the Toyota Tacoma and Toyota Tundra are a well-kept secret. Those who know love their
Toyota trucks for their power and reliability. Bell Road Toyota looks at a
whole new breed of Toyota trucks that may soon take the world by storm.
These trucks will be larger and more powerful than the
pickups at your Phoenix Toyota dealership. They’ll also be cribbing the lessons
learned from another respected Toyota vehicle, the Toyota Mirai FCV (Fuel Cell
Vehicle). What kind of beast arises when you combine a truck with an FCV? The
company is betting big on big rigs powered by FCV technology.
The initiative is called Project Portal, and it’s
undergoing testing right now in Los Angeles. It’s not as much of a stretch as
it may seem, since fuel cells already power Toyota-built buses and forklifts. It’s mostly a matter of scaling the technology to meet the size and power needs
of long-haul trucking.
Why Los Angeles? The port uses trucks for hauling
freight from point-to-point within the port. With idle time and short distance
travel, the existing diesel trucks produce a lot of emissions. The FCV-powered
trucks will be just as efficient, but they’ll be much cleaner and quieter than
their fossil-fueled counterparts.
Once the technology has proven itself during the
testing program, it’ll make its way to the interstates and state highways of
America, including here in Phoenix, AZ. The average Bell Road Toyota customer isn’t
looking for a semi, but as with many other things, the technology developed for
one market has a way of making its way to other new Toyota trucks, cars, and SUVs. We can’t wait to see what comes
next, but why not come to our showroom at 2020 West Bell Road in Phoenix to
see what’s already here?
