Here at Bell Road Toyota, we know that drivers are really
into SUVs and crossovers right now. One of the most popular new Toyota models
on our lot is the Toyota Highlander, and fans of this model are in luck. It's
getting some upgrades for the 2020 model year.
The Toyota Highlander hasn't received a major update since
2013, so some upgrades are due for a new model year. That being said, initial
images show that the 2020 Toyota Highlander isn't changing up its exterior that
much. This is probably due to how popular it still is. Why mess with a formula
that's working? New design lines and other touches will give this Toyota SUV a
more distinctive look though. The SUV market is crowded after all. We want this
amazing vehicle to keep standing out!
The 2020
Toyota Highlander is also going to be a bit larger than the current model.
This could mean increased cargo room or leg room, but we don't have the details
just yet. Also expect it to take some design inspiration from the recently
refreshed Toyota RAV4.
More efficient powertrain options could also be a part of
the package. The current model is available with a number of engines, including
some V6 engine options. The 2020 Toyota Highlander could end up with a hybrid
variant. More drivers are looking for green cars these days and the Toyota
brand has always been a pioneer in this space, so we wouldn't be surprised.
