The Self-Driving 2019 Toyota Avalon

It may seem like 2018 just started, but we're already learning about some 2019 Toyota models. Here at Bell Road Toyota, we're always on the lookout for news about new vehicles and some updates on our favorite classics. One new Toyota model that we've learned more about is the 2019 Toyota Avalon. This stylish sedan just completed some unique testing and we think that it'll impress drivers, no matter what they're looking for in a new sedan.

We've recently talked about some of the Toyota brand's research and testing efforts, but the 2019 Toyota Avalon has really been through the ringer. This model has been subject to the automaker's “rough road durability testing.” At a specially designed course at a testing facility in Michigan, cars are subjected to potholes and a variety of other road defects. These trials show how a new car can handle the roughest road conditions.

Normally, some poor researcher would have to take these bumpy rides over and over again. The 2019 Toyota Avalon is changing the game though. This model managed to take on this course without the need for a human driver. It's been outfitted with the latest autonomous technology. Toyota engineers and technicians no longer have to deal with this uncomfortable journey. Better yet, the self-driving vehicle actually delivers even better data! Automotive research is evolving rapidly, and models like the 2019 Toyota Avalon are leading the charge and ensuring that the Toyota brand stays ahead of the curve.

If you have questions about new vehicles or upcoming models like the 2019 Toyota Avalon, talk to a Phoenix Toyota dealer. We can give you all of the information you need to make your next car purchase. Come in for a test drive soon!
