2018 Toyota Avalon Arrives at Bell Road Toyota

The 2018 Toyota Avalon seems like it’s from, or at least belongs to, another time. The next time you lament the way cars are built, take a look at the Toyota Avalon and realize that they still make some things like they used to. It won’t sell in the same numbers as the Toyota Camry, but for discerning car shoppers at Bell Road Toyota, it has a lot to offer.
The Toyota Avalon is expected to be redesigned for 2019, so the 2018 model looks a lot like the 2017 model that preceded it. That’s not such a bad thing, as it turns out. You can choose five trim levels on the gas-powered model and another three if you opt for the hybrid.
All models and trims feature front-wheel drive. Traditional models get a 268 horsepower 3.5 liter V6 engine and six-speed automatic transmission, while the hybrid driveline is connected to a CVT and puts out 200 net horsepower.
The big news for 2018 was that all new Toyota models would all have Toyota Safety Sense. The Toyota Avalon was a year early in that regard, which contributed to its five-star NHTSA rating and an IIHS Top Safety Pick. We expect this year’s model to repeat that.
There’s plenty more, of course, from the Entune infotainment system to the lovely (and standard) leather seats. The sense of style here is more classic than cutting edge, showing a refined touch that’s reflected in the kind of drive you can expect once you’re behind the wheel.
There’s more, of course, but we’d prefer to show you rather than tell you. With that in mind, why not visit Bell Road Toyota at 2020 West Bell Road in Phoenix, AZ today to see the 2018 Toyota Avalon and to schedule your test drive?
